As Guice Offshore Accounting Manager, she knows that skills like organization, attention to detail, knowledge of the business and, most importantly, a positive attitude are vital to ensuring not only her own success on the job, but that of Guice Offshore and its customers.
With over 15 years of experience in accounting, Julie manages and oversees the daily operations of both the Guice Offshore Accounting Department and that of its subsidiary, GO Marine Services, for which she monitors and analyzes accounting data and produces myriad financial reports. Her maintenance of accurate books on accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and daily financial entries and reconciliations also helps ensure the company is in financial compliance at all times. Her daily tasks include monthly financial reporting, making general ledger entries, and recording payments and adjustments.
Importantly, Julie also prepares and executes the company’s financial audits and taxes, gathering and sending required information needed for the Guice Offshore CPA to successfully complete the company’s regular audit and tax details. She also stays on hand to answer any questions the CPA may ask about the complex documents she has prepared.
Julie, who has been with Guice Offshore since 2014, began her full-time position with the company late during 2019. She’s been enjoying her time with Guice and GO Marine Services ever since!
