Do you know the offshore wind energy business?  Do you have maritime and wind power contacts?  Guice Offshore is hiring a Business Operations and Development Manager on the U.S. Eastern Seaboard to support current and grow our Offshore Wind industry work!

Location:            Must live and office in the US Northeast in a hub for the offshore wind sector.  Examples: New Bedford, Boston

Education:          Bachelor’s Degree required.  Master’s Degree preferred.

Experience:        3+ Years working experience.  Related field a plus.

Salary:                    ($75k-120k) Based on experience and education but will be competitive with the Northeastern U.S. marketplace.

Job Description:              

Guice Offshore (GO) is a leading supplier of dynamically positioned supply vessels in the 150’ to 200’ range.  GO specializes in the “specialty” markets like Offshore Wind, Aerospace, Defense, Research, etc.

GO is looking for an energetic, well educated, self-starter that has a passion for the marine environment.  This person will initially provide sales support and operational support to GO’s efforts in the Offshore Wind industry.  As the market continues to grow, and with GO’s continued success, the position will grow into a managerial position over the business unit.  The ideal candidate will be able to manage his/her time without supervision.

The candidate must be a polished communicator to both individuals and groups.  The candidate will be given the necessary leads and contacts to develop, nurture and grow.  A strong entrepreneurial spirit will serve the candidate well as GO looks for new ways to service this industry.  The position requires the knowledge of Outlook, Office, Excel, and similar Apple products.  Traditional business attire will be required and the typical working week of Monday to Friday, 8-5 will be observed.  Understanding of basic financials/accounting is a plus.  Prior knowledge of the marine industry is also a plus.  Expect regular travel up and down the Northeast.

Other:   GO will provide a company vehicle, company credit card for expenses, company computer, iPhone and will cover travel expenses, etc. as needed for the job.
